Aviation Tutorial 1 - Step 4
After following the same process of applying basic colours to the second aircraft, successive layers of pigment were added to each until an acceptable depth of colour had been achieved. I then added the fine details using Studio pencils, particularly emphasising the darker and lighter areas. Next I used Artists pencils to create an initial suggestion of the ground surface despite not knowing what would finally go there at this stage!
